Dangerous walking

LifeOpinion | 2017年9月10日

Recently, "Aruki Sumaho" means walking with reading smart phone is prohibited all over the world.

It's dangerous. Sometimes people who are looking their smart phone hit another people, walls and cars.
And they dropped from platform where trains are coming at the moment.
So we shouldn't look and read our smartphone when we are walking.

Please look at this sculpture.

His name is "Ninomiya Kinjirou" (Ninomiya Sontoku) who is politician in Edo period.
His family was very very poor, so he had to work despite he was very very young.
He wanted to study, so he carried firewoods with reading books.
His serious attitude for working and studying moved many Japanese people's hearts.
And his sculptures, walking with reading were built at many elementary schools.
Of course, similar one like this picture was at school I graduated.

His attitude is very admirable. Many people respect him.
But it looks like " Aruki Sumaho".
If he lives in 21st Japan and he is walking with reading smartphone, his respectful attitude will be prohibited ?
