Ishibutai kofun (tomb) in Aska
Hi Every one !!
When I go to my company , Normally I take Kintetsu line
On the train , we can see many advertizing and I found interesting photo with big stone in Nara called Ishibutai kofun and it attracted me very much
So on weekend , we visited there
It is located in very peaceful place named Aska in Nara prefecture
The area is well know as historical site
please go below and see what it is (*^_^*)
It takes 1hour 30min by Car from Osaka
So it is not far and good for day trip !!
When we arrived the parking of Ishibutai kofun , Its already noon and we were hangry ....
Its time for lunch 🙂
There are many cafe and small restaurant around there
We visited Cafe Kotodama ことだま
It looks Japanese old house
The entrance ,umm yummy lunch maybe waiting for us (^.^)

After having nice and helthy lunch
We walked around this area
Its like an old town there is map near the parking
Its actually huge ,so you can spend 1day and enjoy this beautiful area ～
It is widely accepted as the tomb of Soga no Umako in ancient days
We also learnt it in Junior high school 🙂 So our old memory came back to us !!
umm very big , I just wonder how people in ancient times carried such a big rocks...
You can walk into inside
